Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Technology Management Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about marketing, social media, content creation, community engagement, technology entrepreneurship and management. The intern will work closely with the founding team to support various initiatives aimed at increasing our brand presence and engagement within the K-12 education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Management: Develop, schedule, and manage posts across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  2. Content Creation: Write and edit blog posts, articles, and newsletters that resonate with K-12 educators.
  3. Community Management: Engage with our online community, respond to comments, and foster a positive and interactive environment.
  4. Email Campaigns:  Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns to engage and inform our audience.
  5. Market Research: Conduct research on current trends in education technology and K-12 teaching to inform our marketing strategies.
  6. Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of social media posts, email campaigns, ads, and blog articles to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Competitive strategy and operation: Analyze competitive business strategies, make recommendations, and improve operation workflow.

Qualifications:

  1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (either advanced undergraduate degree or graduate degree) in Marketing, Communications, Education, Technology management or a related field.
  2. Familiarity with the K-12 education sector is highly preferred.
  3. Excellent communication, including strong writing and editing skills.
  4. Strong organizational skills.
  5. Experience with social media platforms and tools.
  6. Knowledge of email marketing platforms is a plus.
  7. Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  8. Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

  1. Wage: $20-$40 per hour, depending on level of expertise. After the first 3 months, this position can become a long-term position based on performance.
